1.) Good. Blade is pitted with some bites along the edge, a mottled brown patina, and some wastage and pitting. Hilt is a deep brown color overall with much of the gilt design removed. Blade appears to have been cleaned and polished.
2.) Good. Blade has some nicks along the edge, along with some pitting scattered along the edges and hilt. Silver finish remains strong on the lames and quillons but has been removed on the remainder of the hilt. Pommel is loose, and the seams of the hilt are opening up, suggesting some rust to the tang, or resizing at some point.
