.30-06. 21" barrel length. SN: 175275. Blued metal finish with casehardened bolt in walnut semi pistol grip stock with Schnabel forend retained by wedge pin. Bolt action internal magazine fed repeating rifle featuring an octagonal to round barrel with full length matted rib mounting folding rear notch sight with front white bead in addition to a Lyman rear aperture sight over receiver. Maker mark on barrel reads MOD. MAUSER: J.P. SAUER & SON to the rib with the shank marked FLUID-STEEL KRUPP, ESSEN. The left barrel is caliber marked 30. U.S. G. 1906. Rifle features an unsigned German Silver oval plate, front and rear sling loops, and a leather sling. Wrist displays bordered fine multipoint checkering. {C&R}
