Octagonal sixth plate daguerreotype of a bearded soldier in full uniform wearing glasses.

His shako rests on the nearby table showing an 'H' designating his company. His belt plate reads Charleston City Guard. This company was part of the 5th regiment of infantry, Massachusetts Volunteer Militia. Thermoplastic case. (Ex-Naylor Collection and Costa Collection)
