Johnson's expedition to Abyssinia had the primary aim of studying the lives of the people as they related to the great watershed of Lake Tana flowing into the Blue Nile and Lake Abbie's Rivers. Thesiger was born in Abyssinia in 1910, and explored Danakil Country in 1933, as well as Northern and Southern Abyssinia in 1959. A FINE ASSOCIATION COPY.
