Two repaired breaks to the upper-right and left corners (upper-right corner segment is approximately 1 5/8 x 2 1/2 inches; upper-left corner segment is approximately 5 5/8 x 1 3/8 inches). Colors are generally vibrant; gold leaf intact in places, but with significant areas of loss or rubbing. Panel is slightly bowed in a convex manner; stabilized with one horizontal strut. Areas of craquelure throughout consistent with age; significant area of surface loss to the paint layer in the upper-left corner (approximately 4 inches in width), exposing the underlying wood. General discoloration to the cream-colored border, with a significant stretch of loss to the upper-left corner (approximately 4 inches in width), together with four additional areas of loss varying in size to the upper horizontal border. Two splits to the upper-horizontal border.
