In overall decent, stable condition. Scattered instances of craquelure. Upper left with area of exposure to water, paint appears stable but dampstain is evident on back of canvas. Examination under UV light reveals scattered, small areas of overpainting, one larger area of overpainting on right of canvas with a small 1/2-inch loss to paint. Looseness to stretcher. Additional images available upon request. Frame: 77 1/2 x 54 inches. Unsure as to country of origin. It does appear 19th century but could be early 20th .
