Handwritten formula from his work in chemical bonding for which he was awarded one of his two Nobel Prizes. [With:] SHOCKLEY, William (1910-1989). Original diagram of a transistor signed ("W. Shockley") on a 3x5" card, n.p., n.d. 1 page, 16mo. Shockley, a solid-state physicist, invented the transistor and was influential in early Silicon Valley.
