3 pages, 8vo, on a bifolium, some light creasing, with original holograph addressed envelope, creased. Monet thanks Geoffroy for his letter and apologizes for missing him when recently in Paris. He discusses family matters, and thanks him for sending his book Le Louvre, and mentions never receiving a copy of his previous book Belleville. In a postscript, he asked Geoffroy to wish the painter Carriere well and to send his regards for a speedy recovery. With a portrait of Monet in his garden.
