A Chippendale Mahogany Chest on Chest Height 87 3/4 x width 41 x depth 22 1/2 inches.

In overall good, stable, usable condition. Restored by Alan Miller, Quakertown, Pennsylvania. Exterior with a fairly even finish throughout but with some areas of discoloration/rubbing primarily to the drawer fronts and around the hardware. Feet present a darker finish. Both sides to lower case with vertical age split. Overall with light scattered surface wear (nicks and scratches) consistent with age. Hardware all intact and appears to be original; bottom of top drawer's central escutcheon has been "clipped." Locks present to all drawers except lower drawer, which never had one. Drawers with some shrinkage gaps but all open and close smoothly. Drawer bottoms with some age splits and separations. Lacking right front knee return.
