Sturdy, attractive condition overall. Areas of restored gilt (in the molded channels of the case) with good quality finishing. Several small veneer repairs. A few age cracks and areas of rippling veneer. Handles possibly not original (very shiny with lacquered surface to them; loosely defined casting). Additional photos available upon request.
In overall good, stable, usable condition. Marble top with old repairs and reinforcing, had been broke into three pieces. Top of carcass stamped FM. Exterior of case with fairly even finish, having light surface wear consistent with age. Drawers all open and close smoothly, each with lock, no key. Drawer interiors likely with some reconstruction.
