Height of mantel clock 17 1/4 inches. Height of covered urn 16 3/8 inches. Urns, lids, stand and clock all examined under UV light without visible signs of restoration. The lid of the clock's urn finial has a very small chip that has been re-gilded to conceal the chip. One urn's dragon handle has had its tongue restored. Acorn finial of one lid has a small area that may have been re-gilded but did not fluoresce under UV light. Small areas of residue on the base of one urn and the interior rims of the urns beneath the lids. Light surface wear and minor scratches throughout, consistent with age. Varying degrees of very lightly rubbed gilt, but overall the decoration is bright and complete. One edge of the front of the clock has an area of rubbed off gilt. The clock stand has felt pads added to its top. The clock winds, runs and strikes, but the bell needs adjustment and the sound does not resonate properly. The clock movement has not been tested for duration or accuracy. Pendulum and key are included.
