This chest is covered with aluminum foil which is then painted with black paint and textured to give a faux aged look. There are two 1/4 inch square breaks in the foil on the top of the chest. There are also breaks in the hinged area which are made of some kind of cardboard. This occurs more on the inside and can be seen when chest is open. This can be slighty seen when the chest is closed on the outside. This work is in good and stable condition.
