There is slight separatation to the different pieces of wood where the seat of the chair curves into the back; a few slight scratches and small areas of loss to the gilt on the feet; a crack to the wood at ankle on the back left foot; isolated areas of loss to the gilt surface along the upper edge; a spot of loss to the paint surface on the verso red in the upper left quadrant; cracks to the wood on the verso in the lower right corner; otherwise this work appears to be in overall stable condition.
