Under further inspection the material appears to be parchment sheets over wood. There is wear to the finish throughout. No apparent breaks to structure. Drawers are all smooth and easy to pull out. The drawer pulls are all firmly attached. There is discoloration to the finish throughout, wear consistent with moderate use and age. There is heavier wear in spots especially to front, can appear as small areas of darker discoloration or larger areas of wear from light to dark. There is a long visible scratch to the top, please see additional photos. The back is wood painted to mimic the finish and material used in the rest of the piece.
