Publisher's cloth-backed boards, fore-edge uncut (upper corners slightly bumped, spine slightly browned); original printed dust jacket (dampstain at spine visible on verso, ring impression on upper panel, edges and corners with some light wear, chips, or short tears). FIRST EDITION of Bloch's thriller, with the iconic just jacket designed by Tony Palladino and not price-clipped. The novel was adapted by Alfred Hitchcock in 1960 into a feature film of the same name. Currey p.46.
