Small 8vo (180 x 108 mm). 12 hand-colored plates (one for each month) by Verneuil, 2 hand-colored plates for notes at end. (A few pale spots). Hand-colored printed wrappers, stab sewn, red silk tie (lightly spotted); laid into board covers, hand-colored printed labe on upper cover (scant spotting, a single silk tie remaining). Art Nouveau artist Verneuil, a student of Grasset, was inspired by natural elements and Japanese art. He designed numerous posters, furniture, textiles and ceramics.
