Inset plan of Boston and scale HEIGHTENED IN GOLD. (A few short marginal tears, some repaired on verso.) Though most of the toponyms have been translated into French, the map retains some evidence of its English origin, including the reference for a "Copper Mine" near present-day Chicago.
