Loose as issued in limp vellum wrapper, gilt lettered, stiff vellum chemise, vellum slipcase (upper joint of wrapper splitting, some toning or staining). LIMITED EDITION, COLLABORATOR'S COPY, letter C of an unknown number (3?) of a total edition of 145 with manuscript note: "Les bibliophiles de l'Automobile Club de France." THO SCHMID'S COPY. Tho Schmied (1900-1985) was a gifted illustrator who cut many of the woodcuts for this work. A FINE ASSOCIATION COPY.
