Lady: There is a surface crack to the area where the woman's sleeve meets the pink bodice of her dress. Examination under UV light reveals areas of overpainting to the woman's face and bosom, a minor area on the proper left arm, and a minor area to the dress. Gentleman: Examination under UV light reveals areas of overpainting to the proper right side of the man's face, the proper right hand, as well as the thumb, index finger, and middle finger of the proper left hand. UV light also reveals signs of repair in the form of overpainting to the backside of the man's coat.
