The hoops measure approximately 36.00 x 28.00mm in profile and 13.00 mm wide. The mosaic tesserae appear to be securely set into the hoops. The hinged opening/closing sections appear to work as expected. There are four small areas of missing tesserae that is visible under 10x magnification. There are areas where there is a gap between the tessarae. The curved surfaces of the earrings have a coating or glaze that appears to have yellowed over time. It is not known if this is a result of past repair or how the earrings were originally presented when new.
