It is in the opinion of the gemologist (Eblen) that the rubies in this necklace have internal characteristics consistent with natural ruby, while no direct evidence of heat treatment was observed, standard heat treatment (with NO flux re-healing) is possible. It is our opinion that the most likely location of geographic origin would be Thailand (Sian) based on available gemological information. The necklace measures approximately 15.75 inches in length. The chain is detachable from the jeweled section. The length of the chain is approximately 8.75 inches and the length if the jeweled section is approximately 7.00 inches.
