With full jacket in preferred maroon state, with scuffing and minor chipping to top of spine. Includes original wrap-around band from the Evening Standard, showing only some loss to front.A well-preserved copy of the work as it appeared in London bookshops in 1949; decades before Ridley Scott's Super Bowl commercial for Apple in 1984 helped bring Orwell's screen prophecy full circle.
