St. Louis Fall Auction

Examined under UV light. Appears to have had significant restoration. There are several areas indicting inpainting within background and additional inpainting/touch ups done throughout floral arrangement. Most significant work done within vine trailing in foreground on left side of figural base of planter. Inpainting of tabletop below group of peaches. Small scattered spots of inpainting within large pink flower on center right quadrant. In natural light, it appears areas in background of composition have suffered loss and previous crazing and these are the areas that have been retouched visibly under UV. Shows well from a distance. At close inspection, the surface's age and condition are visible.
