appears to be relined. Under natural light, there are visible areas of repair/inpainting to surface pigment, especially within lower portion. The heavy surface pigment appears to have a horizontal crack in the lower right. When examined under ultra violet light, the varnish appears quite milky with age. There is considerable inpainting scattered throughout the composition, especially visible in her hands on the left side.
