Gem characteristics: (graded in setting) SAPPHIRE It is the opinion of the gemologist that the sapphire in this ring has internal characteristics consistent with those observed in natural sapphire. We cannot definitively determine whether this stone has been color/clarity enhanced with heat treatment. The sapphire is blue in hue, slightly dark moderate in tone, and very strong in saturation. The stone has excellent clarity, inclusions only visible at 10X. Excellent cut proportions.
