Seated figural group: There are areas of loss to the simulated lace of the woman's dress, as well as to the gentleman's kerchief. There is an area of omission to the paint on the man's proper right knee. Examination under UV light reveals areas of repair to the simulated lace decoration on the woman's dress, as well as on the gentleman's kerchief. UV light also reveals areas of repair to both of the man's hands. Strolling figural group: There are scattered instances of minor chips to the floral decoration on the base. There are light rubbing to the gilt and painted features. There are minor cracks to the gentleman's proper right hand. Examination under UV light reveals areas of overpainting to the gentleman's proper right arm.
