Autographed letter signed ("Salvador Dali"), 2pp., s.l., n.d. To an unknown recipient, likely Sergei Denham, the director of the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo, 1938-1967. Regarding the ballet production of Tristan Fou. Dali wrote the libretto and designed the backdrops and costumes for the production. Tristan Fou, based on Richard Wagner's opera, Tristan and Isolde, was choreographed by Leonide Massine and premiered at the International Theater in Manhattan in December 1944. The production then toured to London, performing at the Grand Ballet de Monte Carlo.
