In good, stable condition overall. Three hairline cracks to the glaze on the edge of the base. Scattered areas of loss to the glaze, particularly evident on the base. Minor areas of craquelure throughout, particularly evident on the reticulated basket. Examination under UV light causes the tip of the leaves in the putto's proper right hand to fluoresce, in addition to the putto's thumb. UV light also reveals that the top and the underside of the bowl have been overpainted and possibly repaired.
