In overall good, stable, usable condition. Case with even finish throughout, having light surface wear (nicks and scratches) consistent with age and use. A couple of slightly heavier scratches, mostly to the top in front of glazed doors. Glazed doors intact without cracks or repairs. Superstructure with later lighting added to the top shelf, base with wiring and later transformer (?) to interior. Lower section with areas of detachment and minor loss to two areas of beading. One short area of loss to lower trim on back left (as viewed) corner. Drawers and doors all open and close smoothly. One key working upper doors, the other key working secretary drawer and lower doors. Lower doors opening to a single shelf. Leather intact to writing surface.
