Figure of Uncle Tom and Eva: In good, stable condition overall. Scattered areas of loss to the glaze on Uncle Tom's skin. Crazing to the glaze throughout, consistent with age. Appears to be a repaired minor chip on the back of Eva's dress. Minor split to the glaze on the area between the bodice of Eva's dress and Uncle Tom's proper right shoulder, and an area of sticker residue to the back of the base. Examination under UV light does not reveal additional condition issues. Child Riding Lioness: In decent, stable condition overall. Crazing to the glaze throughout, consistent with age. Evidence of shelf wear to the base in the form of minuscule chips and areas of surface loss to the glaze. Examination under UV light reveals heavy overpainting to the lioness's back and tail, the tree stump, and the front of the child's body.
