The figural group depicting a seated mother with a child has repaired cracks to the front of the figure, specifically evident on both of the mother's arms, the bodice of the child's garment, and the mother's proper left ankle. There is an accretion of black grime to the back of the elderly peasant woman's polka dot cape.
