Instances of pitting to the glaze throughout. Scattered areas of rubbing to the gilt, particularly evident on the tiled floor on which the figure is standing. Scattered minor instances of rubbing and loss to the green, yellow, iron red and underglaze blue decoration. Examination under UV light merely causes areas of sticker residue on the plate's underside to fluoresce, and does not reveal additional condition issues. Two hairline cracks to the rim of the plate, the longer of which extends approximately 5/8 inches onto the central reserve. Six minor frets to the edge of the plate's rim. Note: image showing verso shows glue residue from tape or labels. Does not show overspray. Unsure of why taped, does not correspond with hairline cracks.
