Mayer"), one terminating the agreement of the sale of a number of production lots (1927) and the other an agreement to retain William Haines for a role in the movie "The Thrill Hunter," (1925) Together with a check signed by Mayer made out to Western Wholesale Drug Co., (1922).Louis Mayer (1884-1957) was a Russian born, Canadian-American film producer during the golden years of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM).
