Note that the clock was last sold at Sotheby's (9 June 2014, Lot 215) where it was attributed to Charles Cressent. Overall attractive, complete condition. Case with minor age cracks throughout; mounts with duller patina and areas of gilt loss; some unevenness. Mounts apparently not stamped. One section of dial with hairline cracks in the enamel. Otherwise no noticeable enamel repairs. Clock accepts winding, runs and strikes but has not been evaluated by a clock technician or tested for duration/accuracy. Pendulum is bent.
