NEW Information from inner case: The inner surface of the watch bezel is numbered 7656. The movement is a 19 jewel movement with three adjustments signed European Watch and Clock Co. The inner case is signed E.W.&C. Co INC FRANCE 17656 20501 Condition Report The watch winds, sets and runs but has not been timed for accuracy. The watch measures approximately 133 mm (5.25 inches) in length. The watch is complete, all diamonds, onyx and emeralds are present and securely set. The platinum components show no obvious wear or signs of repair. The two clasps for the removable pendant components are in good working order as is the double pin brooch fitting and hinge. The larger emerald at the base shows no obvious wear with minute abrasions and scratches visible at 10X magnification. A small contat/loss to the enamel on the watch bezel measuring approximately 1.00 mm in length shows metal underneath. The watch dial shows slight fade to the signature and spotting. Gem Characteristics (graded in setting) Larger emerald The stone is green in hue with a slight blue modifier, medium in tone, moderately strong in saturation. The stone shows strong, high translucency with transmitted light. The rear of the stone shows a cluster of internal veils creating a cloudy mass that is not visible from the front or sides, a small area at the back of the emerald near the watch bezel edge has two surface reaching feathers with minute, shallow cavities less than 1.00 mm deep. It is the opinion of the gemologist that the emerald is of Colombian origin. Central fluted emerald bead The stone is green in hue with a slight blue modifier, medium in tone, moderately strong in saturation. The stone is transparent with evenly scattered inclusions that are subtly eye visible. It is the opinion of the gemologist that the emerald is of Colombian origin.
