Rubies It is the opinion of the gemologist that the rubies in this pendant have internal characteristics consistent with those observed in natural ruby that has NOT been color enhanced with heat treatment, and that the most likely location of geographic origin would be Burma (Myanmar). The stones are pinkish red in hue, medium in tone and strong in saturation. The stones have very high clarity and very good cut proportions. The rubies show only very minor wear under 10X magnification.
