The brooch shows very minor partial loss (underlying gold is barely visible) to the white enamel to one side lengthwise near the junction of the red garnet prong setting. All stones are present and securely set. The center sapphire shows scattered very minor abrasions to the facet junctions at 10X magnification. The garnets show scattered very minor to minor wear consisting of superficial scratches and scattered faction junction abrasions at 10X magnification. The diamonds show no appreciable wear at 10X magnification. The pin stem and C-clasp are in good working order and are original to the brooch, the C-clasp showing a clear signature.
