Doxford, Lindeth Howe, Windermere, and opening to a fitted interior with eight simulated tortoise shell articles including a hand mirror, four brushes, a shoe horn, a circular box and a button hook; ten cut glass bottles and jars of varying forms and sizes with engine-turned silver lids marked for Edwards & Sons, London, 1917; a circular leather box and cover, a leather-bound journal and a leather-cased sewing kit with a silver thimble marked for James Fenton & Co., Birmingham, 1916.
