The whole in overall good, complete condition having a repair to the boy's pinky finger and the girl's extended foot. Light surface scratches in areas throughout to be expected. Two central columns beneath the bannister, each having separately carved marble parts incorporated into the sculpture. The compote also not from the same marble block. The boy's hand having remnants of a porous material, likely of which was later added and had something suspended from his hand teasing the girl. Width of figure at widest 29 1/2 inches. Depth of figure at deepest 18 inches.
