First case in overall decent, stable condition. Having some chipping to edge of top and base. Decoration with area of discoloration to center also with fine crazing throughout. Bearing a partial label for the British Antique Dealers Association. The second example in overall decent, stable condition. Decoration to top without damage, loss or repair. Some losses to leather banding on sides. Bottom also with an area of damage to papier mache. Tortoise shell example in overall decent, stable condition. Glass to front having tight horizontal split. Some losses also to decoration. Tortoise shell with a couple of tight hairline cracks near hinge. Opens smoothly and closes tightly.
