In overall good condition. Edges of stretcher are paper-wrapped, obscuring the edges of canvas; work is possibly painted on paper laid down to canvas. Areas of very fine crazing in sky, largely localized to center and upper right quadrant. Some scattered areas of rough surface texture in the beach, primarily at lower right, along the bottom edge, and lower left (around and over the signature & date). Scattered areas of inpainting under UV light, notably along left, right and upper edges, intermittently across sky (series of dots/daubs to broader passages) and water. Areas of green varnish in beach. Additional images available upon request.
