In overall good condition, with accumulated dust in the nooks and crevices of the bronze. With signs of oxidation (verdigris patina) in some interstices (see on the flaming base, on the figure's right calf, in between his knees). With inherent hairline cracks and pinholes to the bronze, mostly visible across the figure's chest (a result of the bronze casting, we believe). The work appears stable, still. We note the back of the figure's feet are covered in a thin layer of brown, mat, paint which appears easily removable (revealing the golden patina beneath). With a few scratches on the round base, along with a round bite mark at right, again likely from the casting (air bubbles). Additional images available upon request.
