The unlined canvas in overall good condition. With upper and bottom stretcher bar marks (along with fainter lateral marks). We notice craquelure in the white corners of the background, all relatively stable and not active. The work would likely benefit from a light cleaning. Examination under UV light reveals remnants of old greenish varnish in the background, around the image. With some splashes upper center, along the upper outer edge. With pinpoint inpainting on the hair of the far left figure, circling the face. Same patterning around her shoes and in the grass, below the two girls. With minuscule pinpoint inpainting on the right figure's neck. Some instance appear purplish, but it seems to follow the pigments, and are therefore not signs of inpainting (see at center left in the background, as well as at center right).
