Frame is in overall solid condition with wood joints secure. Likely refinished with previous glue repairs at the stretcher joints. No breaks or repairs to the wood body. The vertical seat back stiles are lose at their meeting the top crest rail. Various areas of age appropriate wear to the outside edges. with some areas of loss to the bottoms of the legs. The pewter inlay appears intact and stable. Caning is likely a later replacement and is in need of repair. Likely previously cut down by 1-2 inches.
