great condition overall, with nicely polished surface; presents really well and has nice visual appeal; the brass mounts occasionally with some bending or unfoiling at edges, but mostly intact; one half of the backboards slightly coming loose, and with some mildew spots commensurate with age; the drawers glide easily and are lightly stained; accompanied by a key that opens all three drawers; the top with minor old darkened surface scratches, but not very obvious
