the top is associated, apparently a later modern addition, showing some dark rust stains and with expected minor wear to edges; the bases have a wonderful patina, showing honest wear commensurate with use, with some occasional areas of darkened discoloration; the bases each are constructed of four pieces that are adhered / cemented into place, with some seams showing minor age cracks, the back bottom seams with what looks like later cement reinforcements; one base with prominent chip / loss to front left-facing corner; both lion supports have some subtle age cracks running the perimeter, and some possibly indicative of repaired breaks or reinforced cracks; one lion support with some minor drips of red household paint to right-facing side; the bases overall intact, but with some occasional minor chips and losses to edges and surface details commensurate with age
