with nicely polished surface to top, the top with a few darkened spots or old scratches, but presents nicely overall; the inlay and veneer along edge of top with some occasional losses and patches commensurate with age; the underside / interior edge with loss / broken wood element along screw, but not visible and does not impact structural integrity; the base is sturdy and the legs appear stable, the base with more recently applied varnish to surface, which is a bit streaky in places; the top of base with a few repaired breaks to veneer along edge, including along screw side; the stretcher with a few stabilized age cracks; one foot with some veneer loss to underside; the brass casters appear to be original / period, showing some patination and occasional oxidation commensurate with age and use; a scratch near one screw plate
