having a nice, rubbed and waxed surface throughout; the drawer faces with some occasional patches along edges commensurate with age and use; the feet appear ok, with the back left-facing foot missing its glue block; missing original escutcheons and having replaced brasses, with evidence of plugged or filled former screw holes; the top surface with old darkened and rubbed scratches; the bird-form handle to left-facing side slightly loose because it's missing a screw
