Significant deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is edge lined; network of craquelures throughout; pinpoint paint losses in scattered areas along the extreme upper edge; pinpoint white paint droplets scattered throughout the surface; one spot of inpainting visible under normal viewing conditions in the lower left corner; under a heavy, discolored varnish. Under UV light: small spots of inpainting scattered throughout the background, as well as along the lower edge; inpainting within craquelure fills in the center left.
