Estimate$600 – $1,000
Provenance:
The Artist.
By descent in the family to his son, Ira Glackens.
(Presumably) a gift from the above.
Framed under glass. The work was not examined out of the frame as all four edges are visible. The work appears to have been hinged at all four corners. With old discoloration along the upper right corner (most likely due to old mounting verso, peering through). Old circular grass stain at bottom left. Minor horizontal paper cut at upper right (less than 0 1/8 in.), also along the top outer edge at center right (less than 0 1/8 in. again). With old brown smudges on the paper itself, most likely old wash.
Frame: 10 1/2 x 13 3/4 x 3/4 in.
